New Wood Rim set to restore/re-wood your 1964-1971 XKE / E-Type steering wheel. Late 3.8 and all 4.2litercars.
The wood is laminated from 5mm strips of Mahogany, bent around a jig and then machined as per original.
Restoring your original wheel is quite straightforward to do, and a very satisfying project. I recommend a high strength Epoxy for this job, such as System Three T-88. Instructions included.
It is always better to restore your originalJaguar made wheel than to buy one of the reproductions made in theFar East.Some examples should be made doubly clear, that the aluminum wheel in the photos is not included--This is new wood to restore your existing wheel, and the photos showing partial/restored steering wheels are examples only.
Also, the early 1961-1963 3.8 wheel is different, so if you are in doubt to what you have in your car, please message before buying.
