TECHART’s GTstreetRS, based on the Porsche 911 GT2, gave an impressive demonstration of uncompromising sporting prowess with a best time of 1:06.811 min on the Hockenheimring’s small track. Consistent adaptability to everyday use is likewise standard: with TECHART's LED daytime running lights and integrated TECHART Noselift system.
Vehicles with the TECHART GTstreet package have been among the fastest and most powerful sports cars in the world since 2001. Thanks to the use of TECHART’s TA097/T2.2 performance kit, a high performance rating of 700 hp and 515 kW with a maximum torque of 860 Nm are on call. This performance is achieved due to the use of modified turbochargers, enlarged carbon intake manifolds, specially developed intercoolers, a valve-controlled sports exhaust system combined with high performance headers, a modified pressure sensor and a sports air filter. The GTstreet aerodynamic package’s top flight performance capacity is evident in the wind tunnel: 10 kg downforce on the front and rear axles respectively at 140 km/h.
The front apron has a carbon splitter. Air ducts mean that cooling air can escape directly behind the cooler via the newly created air outlet, bringing a considerable reduction in lift on the front axle. By increasing downforce, side carbon flaps enhance this effect. The comprehensive modifications make the sports car with the aerodynamic hood, headlight trim, mirror trim, side skirts and carbon roof spoiler react with tip-top precision. The rear spoiler, equipped with winglets and a carbon gurney flap, received special attention. The club sports car package is rounded off by a carbon diffuser, air outlets and carbon air ducts.
High performance capacity is likewise impressive when it comes to the suspension. Equipped with TECHART’s Formula III forged rims and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Plus tires, the GTstreet RS package provides its driver with all the performance a street-legal sports car can boast. On top of this, the TECHART Noselift system means the vehicle can be raised by up to 60 mm on the front axle at speeds up to 60 km/h. The system is push-button controlled from the interior. The specially tailored TECHART coilover suspension is an optional extra.
A focus on expressive design and active safety
The multifunctional TECHART daylight running light system is more than just a sophisticated design feature. It simultaneously makes a comprehensive contribution to more safety by day and night. The LED system unit combines daytime running lights, sidelights, parking lights and turn signals in a joint housing and fits harmoniously into the design of the vehicle front. The light intensity automatically adjusts to the selected driving lights setting. Moreover, the daytime running lights even dim automatically when either of the turning signals is active to improve their visibility.
Whether it is ornamental color seams, full leather upholstery in your favorite color or ornamental trim in all kinds of materials, such as carbon or piano lacquer, TECHART products offer virtually unlimited freedom for customized interior design. Additional accessories such as aluminum pedals, a 3-spoke sport steering wheel or illuminated door step trim with individual logos are the finishing touches to the diverse interior options.
