Following the S202 and S203, Subaru introduced the S204 for 2006. The car is available only in Japan with a production run of 600.
Performance modifications include a reprogrammed ECU, new pistons, crankshaft, exhaust and an upgraded turbocharger. Power output is improved to 320 bhp and 319 lb-ft of torque.
Handling is improved with lighter BBS wheels and a stiffer suspension that lowers the car by half an inch.
The S204 receives special interior treatment with an exclusive steering wheel, aluminum inserts with engraved serial number and Recaro bucket seats.
