The V8 engine of the M5 is updated with HAMANN performance tuning. The kit contains stainless steel-made performance manifolds, high performance metal-bed catalysts and a recalibrated Motronic. 50 hp extra power increase driving pleasure with the M5. Of course the standard 155 mph limit is also removed: The tuned M5 is more than 189 mph.
To provide a safe ride at these high speeds HAMANN doesn"t only provide a high performance brake system but also efficient aerodynamic tools: The two-piece HAMANN front spoiler edge, which is fixed on the standard apron, reduces lift against Zero what further improves driving stability at high speeds. The racing-look twin rear spoiler is the aerodynamic counterpiece on the rear axle.
High-grade HAMANN full leather trims in all conceivable color combinations are available for the interior. In addition the customizer offers accessories like ergonomically shaped airbag-sports- steering-wheels, pedals, gearshift-lever knob and handbrake grip made from aluminium.
