The Edo Competition 997 GT2 R is based on the 996 GT2 R, which had already been modified in the areas of brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, aerodynamics, exhaust system, interior, wheels/tires and light-weight windows. The only thing missing to be up-to-date is the look of the current Porsche 997! The conversion kit has been created by Edo to include a new front fascia, front skirt, radiator inlets, brake cooling ducts, widened front fenders, fender liners, mesh inserts, and a carbon fiber front spoiler. Additional exterior changes include a modified fuel door and a litronic headlight kit. The brake system has been upgraded to 15-inch rotors up front and 14-inch rotors in the rear, and the suspension has been changed out for a KW sport suspension with adjustable compression and rebounding damping. Horsepower peaks at 542 bhp, and top speed exceeds 200 mph.
