    Harley Battery

    This is the same battery you would buy in the Harley shop for double what this one cost. I like to get things for a cheap price but still want them to be high quality and this battery is just that! I got this one for $104 & free shipping. I love Harley Davidsons but don’t like paying extra just because it says “Harley Davidson” on the product. So this battery is exactly what I look for when buying parts for my 1999 FLH Standard. I like to research parts I need and find out the company that makes the part for Harley Davidson and Deka is one of the 2 company’s that make batteries for Harley Davidson. So if you are looking for a quality battery you would buy at the Harley shop but don’t want to pay extra for the name, this is the way to go, you can’t go wrong with this battery!

    NOT identical to OEM!!!

    This is not identical to OEM! OEM batteries don't need bushings to make the leads fit flush!!This is identical to the battery I purchased at Advance Auto three years ago under the trade name Auto craft (ETX30LA).21/2 years later bike became more difficult to start (hard cranking). 3 years wouldn't turn over at all! I got 7 years out of my original OEM, 5 to 6 years seems to be the average if kept on a battery tender. If I knew this was the product I would receive I would have spent the extra $40 and bought OEM! OK if you plan to get rid of the bike in the next year or 2 and need something to get by!

    Great battery - Great price !

    Bought this battery to put in a 2010 H-D FLHTCU. Read some feedback that it would be "a tight fit", & hard to install but took a chance. Installed battery myself, had absolutely no trouble at all. I'd call it a snug fit, which is great, no concern about it bouncing or wiggling around in the battery compartment on bumpy country roads. Can't speak to other year models or makes. Battery has been working great from the start. I have no reservations about recommending this battery.

    Deka Harley battery

    Very satisfied with the quality of this battery! I've had this battery in my bike now for 2 weeks and it is as strong as the day I installed it, as to be expected. Now to see how long it lasts . Only got 2 years out if last battery but it was not a Deka . My bike has never started as easy as it has since installing this battery I am definitely a satisfied customer. Word of advice ,if changing this battery yourself it is helpful to have an extra set of hands since the terminal cables are not very long and being a side mount there is no room to get them started once battery is seated in hole .
