Wrong fixing holes, otherwise it can work?
While this Chiese stator is fairly cheap, considering. It is not for a YZF600R like mine, as advertised? It is probably for a later model YZF or an R6.Mmine is a 1997 model. So the 4 holes are an x shape on the clock and mine 3 are a Y shape, So I had to drill and tap a new hole to fit it in a D ahape, which then fitted. and worked. But I would not recommend this to the non fitter experienced, as I am. I took it out for a run and I smelt rubber burning? After a while my rev counter would cut out for a fraction of a second.and the needle would zero,so I'll have to remove it all again and check all the wiring and connections for the rev-pulse sensor fixing, wires and connection.
