This is a new Mac 91A kart engine that has never been started and completely stock in every way. It has been stored away for 40+ years perfectly showing only a couple blemishes from storage on the cover which have been touched up. The motor features a dual carb setup with tillotson carbs, and a rareHartman throttle linkage. All gaskets are new NOS and just installed prior to listing. The motor also features a new electronic ignition with mini kill switch which eliminates the need for points and condensors, but there is a NOS points part installed and a NOS condensor will be included with sale for the purists offerding. This Mac 91A has stock bore,piston,rings,rod,rod bolts,bearings,etc and all parts are NOS. It has been disassembled and rebuilt using all new gaskets, stainless head bolts, and freshly lubed during reassembly. Motor has great spark, and compression, carbs are in great shape with NOS velocity stacks and a rare, hard to find Hartman gear driven linkage to make your installation simple for any application. There has been something pointed to me which I feel should be noted within the listing, but was inadvertently omitted previously. The dual carb manifold included with the McCulloch 91A engine features a 3rd port passage which the 91 series engines were not manufactured with. The 40/70 series engines featured the 3rd port and this particular manifold was intended for use on those series motors. The manifold has been modified to block the port which means the manifold cannot be considered a \"stock\" piece. The modification howeverwould not effect the performance or reliability if used as intended in a racing application. I have used this exact setup in past years and had excellent results with it, and as it was originally intended for my personal usage it was setup to my specs. I apologize to all that this information was not included in the listingdescription and will gladly remedy any conflict that has has resulted from it by cancelling the offers of those that formally request it.
