Replaced Components
The 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 BLUETEC is built with the following rear suspension components: 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 BLUETEC Electronic Shocks (x2)- shocks whose dampening capabilities are controlled by the suspension control module. 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 BLUETEC Air Springs (x2)- commonly referred to as air bags, a plastic and rubber bag that is fitted on top of the strut that uses pressurized air as a cushion instead of a metal coil spring to hold a vehicle off of the ground and off of its wheels. These are the number one cause of all air suspension leaks. All air springs all go bad at about the same rate. If one is leaking, the others will not be far behind. For a proper repair, all of them need to be replaced at the same time. 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 BLUETEC Height Sensors (x2)- a linkage located near each wheel of a vehicle with any electronic suspension that, either mechanically or electronically, constantly measures the height of the vehicle, and reports this information back to the control module so that the computer can identify if changes in height need to be adjusted accordingly. The ride height sensor is a moving part, and like all moving parts, they will eventually wear out. 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 BLUETEC Air Lines- tubes that run from a compressor to the air springs, which carry pressurized air to the air bags. 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 BLUETEC Solenoids (x2)- usually L-shaped, these plastic components connect the electrical connection and lines of suspension components to the suspension control module on vehicles with active suspension. The solenoid regulates the air pressure for each air spring. Solenoids start to leak as they wear out causing the vehicle to sag or to lean. This will cause the ride height sensor to send a signal to activate the compressor in an attempt to inflate the air suspension and level out the vehicle. This excessive work load will eventually lead to total failure of the compressor. 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 BLUETEC Compressor Assembly- creates/sends pressurized air to active suspension components. When the air suspension starts leaking, the compressor/pump starts working harder to try to keep the system inflated. By the time air suspension leaks down completely, sitting the vehicle on its tires, the compressor will either have failed or be well on its way to full failure. Buying replacement struts and taking the time to install them only to find out the compressor still needs to be replaced can be very frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive. 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 BLUETEC Suspension Control Module- a computer which is responsible for the operations of the air suspension system and maintaining the vehicles correct ride height. 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 BLUETEC O-rings- although they are the least expensive parts of the air suspension, they are responsible for maintaining the seal where all of the air lines connect. Be sure to replace the O-rings when repairing any air suspension system.Suspension Failure Signs
Early detection of a failed or leaking air suspension system is critical to avoiding total failure. The following signs indicate the suspension is going bad in the 2009 Mercedes-Benz R320 BlueTEC. Look for a sudden height variance between different sides of the R320. Typically this looks like one sagging end and one inflated end. This gives the illusion the R320 is squatting down low to the ground. There may also be a shifting lean from one side to the other. If these imbalances are not fixed in a prompt manner they will put a strain on the air compressor. Eventually, the air compressor will wear out. It may have stopped working already, or perhaps is just running too often. Advanced suspension failure will be indicated by a suspension warning light on the dashboard.OEM Replacement Cost

All returns must be postmarked within thirty (30) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.
RETURN PROCESS
In the event that you need to return your item for non-warranty related issues, a restocking fee will be applied to your return. We use restocking fees as a way to cover the cost of the return shipping, inspecting and reboxing of the item.

A $200 restocking fee will be charged for all 4-wheel conversion kits or non-conversion kits items valued in excess of $500.00.

Suspension Experts, LLC (Strutmasters) warrants to the original retail purchaser that each new Strutmasters branded product purchased from an authorized dealer shall be free from defects for the periods listed below when used on private passenger cars and light trucks for personal use under normal operating conditions.
Warranty Period
Strutmasters extends a 1 Year warranty on all Strutmasters branded shocks, struts, and springs.
Strutmasters extends a 90 Day warranty on SmartRide branded shocks, struts, and springs.
Warranty Details
This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover normal wear and tear or any other loss, liability or damage resulting from improper alteration, disassembly, handling, installation, service, repair or use of this product. If for any reason you find it necessary to alter a product you must receive written consent from a Strutmasters technician.
This warranty will not cover surface finish, boot or mounting hardware such as, but not limited to, rubber bushings or dust covers.
If a replacement is required prior to returning the defective product, a deposit for the replacement may be required. The deposit charge will be refunded upon receipt of the warrantied item.
If the product is purchased in error or is no longer needed, the customer is responsible for shipping the products back at their expense and will be subject to a restocking fee as outlined in our return policy.
If you have purchased a Strutmasters product from a 3rd party seller all warranty claims and returns must be submitted directly through the 3rd party.
The warranties and remedies contained herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties expressed, implied, or statutory, including any liability arising under any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, statutory or otherwise. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary by jurisdiction.
In no event shall Strutmasters be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages, whether resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use a Strutmasters product or from defects in the Strutmasters product. Cost of removal, installation and other labor claims are not included or covered under this warranty. Strutmasters obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement of the defective product.
Strutmasters retains the exclusive right to repair or replace with new or remanufactured product or offer refund of the purchase price at its sole discretion.
This warranty is null and void if the installation is not performed by an ASE certified mechanic. It is required to submit a receipt or proof of installation was completed by an ASE certified mechanic with your warranty claim form.
All warranty returns must be shipped back with a copy of your original invoice, sales order or receipt, verifications of installation by a certified ASE mechanic and the warranty claim form. After receiving the returned product we will take 2-4 business days to process your warranty return.

For Non-Strutmasters branded products, most manufacturers offer a warranty period that covers against merchandise defects. To determine warranty requirements for a specific item, please contact the manufacturer directly for more information about their warranty policies.
Please note warranty processing may take 4-8 weeks and will be subject to the individual manufacturer\'s policies and discretion. Manufacturer warranties do not cover defects determined to be caused by normal wear or due to customer error or negligence.
