How to Replace Wheel Hub Bearing

Step1: Preparation.

1. Park your vehicle on a flat surface.
2. Use wheel chocks to secure wheels whose bearings youaren\'treplacing.

Step2: Remove the old wheel hub bearing.

1. Loosen the lug nuts and lift the wheel using a jack.
2. Unscrew the lug nuts and remove the wheel.
3. Remove the brake caliper.
4. Remove the dust cover, cotter pin, and castle nut.
5. Remove the rotor.
6. Unscrew the hub bolts and remove the old hub.
7. Disassemble the hub assembly.
8. Remove races and clean the knuckle.

Step3: Install the new wheel hub bearing.

1. Install new races and new wheel to separate the front wheel sensor from the steering knuckle may result in damage to the front wheel sensor;
2. Pull out the front wheel sensor, being careful to turn it as little as possible.
3. Do not pull on wheel sensorharness.

Inspection after removel : Check components for deformationy,cracksy,and other damagey,and boots of transverse link ball joint for cracksy,axial end play,and swing torque.
