Advantage of Solid Flywheel conversion set:
- Stock clutch set ups on most newer Mini's use a dual mass flywheel. Dual mass flywheels are generally pretty heavy and leave a lot to be desired in terms of performance and durability under heavy use such as track driving. One of the easiest ways to change the driving characteristics of your Mini is to delete the dual mass flywheel and replace it with solid flywheel that is stronger and much more consistent. The HD sprung clutch set combined with the deletion of the dual mass flywheel, you'll get improved engine response and better feeling clutch that's designed for longer - 2006 Mini Cooper S Hardtop (R50; R53; 1.6L SOHC 4cyl Supercharged; 6-speed)
- Fits 2005 - 2008 Mini Cooper S Convertible (R52; 1.6L SOHC 4cyl Supercharged; 6-speed)
Note: Clutch and flywheel must be used together as a set without reusing any existing components
All ClutchMax products are sold with the manufacturer warranty of 12 months or 15,000 miles. All warranty claims must be made prior to shipping the product back. The buyer must first contact ClutchAmerica™ to begin the warranty / defective claim process. All warranty claim products for inspection or repair must be sent prepaid, insured and properly packaged. All freight charges (inbound and outbound) for returned products are the sole responsibility of the customer.
