·A. JDM ENGINE DIRECT offers thefollowing warranty for the parts soldPlease take the time to thoroughly read through our terms and conditions and besure you are ok with this policy before making your purchase:1. Used Replacement Engines - 60 Days from date of possession
2. Used Performance Engines - 30 Days from date of possession
3. Rotary Engines (Mazda RX-7 13BT/13BTT/20B) - No Warranty
4. All Electrical Parts and accessories on Engine - No Warranty
5. Used Performance Transmissions - 30 Days from date of possession
6. Used Replacement Transmissions - 30 Days from date of possessionB. ITEMS AND CONDITIONS COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY1. All internal engine parts including: pistons, piston rings, piston pins,crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft andcamshaft bearings, timing chain and timing gears, intake and exhaust valves,valve springs, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms and shafts. The engine block,cylinder walls and cylinder head are also warranted to be free of cracks ordistortion.
2. Head gaskets are warranted for 30 days only, irrespective of the applicationas stated in Section (A).
3. JDM ENGINE DIRECT reserves the right to repair with rebuilt or serviceableused parts, or exchange the engine at its own discretion and determination.C. ITEMS NOT COVEREDAll external parts attached to the engines, e.g., intake and exhaust manifolds,carburetors, distributor, starter, emission control devices, flywheel, clutchand pressure plate, water pump, thermostat, belts, hoses, oil pan, valve cover,sensors, electronic parts(distributor, wires, Computers, injectors, etc), driveshafts, engine mounts, half shaft, etcD. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER1. Any labor charges for installation or removal of engine or part sold. (NOEXCEPTIONS)
2. Any damage caused by abuse, neglect, accident or natural perils.
3. Loss caused by the engine being improperly installed.
4. Towing charges and/or freight or delivery charges.
5. Loss caused by overheating. The warranty does not cover oil leaks, blownhead gasket or any other engine damage due to overheating caused by poor watercirculation, clogged radiator, stuck thermostat or a faulty water pump, etc.
6. Decrease in performance of any covered part due to normal wear and tear(unless actual breakdown occurs), having regard to inherent manufacturingfaults in some engine models.
7. Loss caused by any modification or use of the engine for which it was notoriginally designed.
8. The engine if it is used for competitive driving, drifting or racing.
9. Loss caused by the failure of a part or parts of the engine that are notcovered by this limited warranty.
10. Tune-ups and adjustments, filters, hoses, belts, lubricants, coolants,emission control devices, spark plugs, tune-up parts, etc.
11. Deterioration or pre-ignition damage.
12. Repairs performed without prior authorization from JDM ENGINE DIRECT
13. Loss caused by defective timing belt. A brand new timing belt must beinstalled.
14. Loss caused by modification or forced induction (NOS, Turbos, Supercharged)for which the engine was not designed.E. LIMITATION OF DURATIONRepairs or exchanges will not extend this limited warranty beyond the describedterm on this form (Item A)F. DISCLAIMER 1This limited warranty is in lieu of any and all other expressed warranties of JDMENGINE DIRECT. Any warranty implied is limited to the duration of this limitedwarranty. JDM ENGINE DIRECT does not assume or authorize any person to assumeon its behalf any other obligation of liability. By making a purchase from JDMENGINE DIRECT you agree with our warranty terms and conditions as listed inthis section of the warranty.G. DISCLAIMER 2JDM ENGINE DIRECT will not be responsible for incidental or consequentialdamages arising from loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or commercialloss, or any other consequential damage or loss. To file a warranty claim please contact JDM ENGINE DIRECT via email or phoneand we will assist you in the procedure2. The customer is responsible for all the freight charges on the return ofdefective engines and no replacement engine will be sent until our staff haveinspected and verified the returned defective engine in question. If the engineis defective, JDM ENGINE DIRECT will either send a replacement engine or issuea refund minus the shipping charges. This decision is based on JDM ENGINEDIRECT discretion.3. The engine MUST be returned in the same condition it was sent in. If partsare missing or not in same condition it was sent it, it will be refused by thereceiving team.Engines complete with accessories may not comply with the emission control lawsof the state in which it is being sold or used. State and/or federalauthorities require that you change over the emission devices from your oldengine to the engine you are installing to make it comply. Please note that JDMENGINE DIRECT is not responsible for emissions or smog certification. Thepurchase price represents the cost of the long block only (i.e. cylinder headand short block only).IMPORTANT: FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS VOIDS THEWARRANTY.a. Must be installed, maintained, or adjusted by a certified mechanic.
b. Set ignition to specification as recommended by manufacturer.
c. Change oil after 200 initial miles after install
d. Check cooling system and service if rusted or contaminated with oil andreplace coolant.
e. Must replace the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, oil filter, and sparkplugs.SALES AND DEPOSIT POLICYAll sales are final. JDM ENGINE DIRECT does not offer refunds, exchanges.
All deposits placed are NON REFUNDABLE unless specified in writing from JDMENGINE DIRECT
Any orders placed that have not been shipped or picked up can be cancelled anda full refund would be issued. If your order has been shipped or picked up JDMENGINE DIRECT cannot cancel transaction.
