Personally, I don't like the way the paddle shift 575 / SA drive. But with a manual, they are among my favorite Ferraris to drive, so huge is the difference.

The company that makes a conversion kit charges $45,000 for the conversion and they are not using real Ferrari parts! If you want to preserve and increase the value of your Ferrari, the way to do that is with factory original parts and this is the only assemblage of factory parts to convert your 575 to a manual shift car.

In fact, manual shift SuperAmericas sell for more than double their paddle shift counterparts.If you are considering a conversion using aftermarket parts I would urge against this for several reasons. First and most obviously, those parts are NOT Ferrari parts. You ruin the car's authenticity. Second, the car will not shift the same as if it had a real Ferrari shifter assembly and system. Who wants a Ferrari that does not drive alike a Ferrari should? Third, with factory original parts you cannot tell the difference from a car that left the factory with a manual gearbox or one that was converted using 100 percent oem parts. On the other hand, if you use aftermarket parts you can see it very obviously!
In fact, ask the person doing the conversion to send you a photo of their shifter assembly along side the Ferrari shifter assembly. Their aftermarket shifter looks like it was made from lego parts, meaning it is blocky, square and angular and looks nothing like the Ferrari part. Don't take my work it. Ask them to send you this side by side photo. This is the only known complete 575 Conversion kit on the planet for sale, that's how rare this system is.
