Program is shareware and can be found on the internet but not the ECMSPY website. Just do an internet search for ECMSPY.
ECM Spy cable for ALL fuel injected Buells 99-08 including X1, ST FI models, and all XB9 and XB12 models! Cable allows the use of ECM Spy which isa FREE program that allows the user to do diagnostics, view and erase trouble codes, throttle postison sensor (TPS) resets, and advancedFImapping features to make and modify custom maps and adjust such items as cold start fuel precentage. Also allows real time monitoring of entire system! Why pay hundreds of dollars for a PowerCommander or other similar programmers which override the stock ECMand causesuch issues as causing the check engine light to stay on and having to pay a \"tuner\' with a dyno hundreds of dollars to get th bike setup properly. Also while these products work OK on other bikes, they have known ISSUES with Buells where Power Commander does not even make it for the older models. You can even save money by changing a stock ECM instead of buying a race ECM from Buell.
I use this product myself! Simply download ECM Spy and the cable driver (Driver included)from the internet and install them on your computer. Connect the cable to any USB port on a computer and the other end to the data port on the Buell. On my X1 the port is clearly visable near the steering lock (NO disassembly required!). Then start using the product to get your Buell running the way it should!
It can SAVE you money. If you have replaced your ECM or other modifications Buells require a TPS reset. The dealer will charge $70 and up for this process which only takes a matter of minutes using this cable and ECM Spy. You can also check and adjust timing which is also required on FI Buells!
